I specialize in multiple genres. I predominantly shoot events, including Weddings, Corporate Events, Private Fundraisers, galas, private Birthdays, Anniversaries, Family Reunions, and more.
I also shoot smaller functions, such as elopements, surprise engagements, bridal photos, family portraits, and maternity. I shoot baby’s milestones (3 mos., 6mos, 9mos and one year, then annually from there)
I don’t specialize in Newborn photography.
My approach to photography is all about telling your story. In many ways, it is photojournalistic or documentary in terms of capturing candid moments. However, it is infinitely more artistic regarding lighting and colors and how they relate to the subject, posed and unposed moments, and especially the private moments I am invited to share. Please note that I try to merge your vision with my own to get the look and feel you want.
Generally, you can expect 3-15 edited images in a 20-minute shoot. You should expect anywhere from 50-75 edited photos per hour of shooting time. I provide Color and black-and-white images. The average number of edited pictures per photo shoot varies significantly. The final number depends on the session's length, type (e.g., portraits vs. event), and my artistic style, merged with the client’s requests and package offerings.
Portrait sessions:
1-hour session: A typical range is 20–30 edited photos.
Mini-sessions: Expect 5–15 edited photos.
Individual sessions: I offer different packages with a set number of images, such as 15, 20, or more for a one-hour shoot.
Event coverage
1-hour coverage: I deliver around 50–75 edited photos, depending on the event's intensity.
More extensive coverage: For a 2-hour event, I might provide 80–160 images.
Key factors that influence the number of photos
Type of shoot:
A commercial or product shoot might require only a few finished images, whereas a portrait session will have more.
I focus on a reduced quantity and higher-quality high-impact images, while other photographers prioritize a higher volume of lower quality. *. I might add, I tend to under promise and over deliver
Client's needs:
You may need specific shots, like a family photo session requiring individual and group shots of various combinations.
Packages:
The number of edited photos is often determined by the package you select, with higher tiers including more images.
The time it takes me to edit photos varies significantly, from under an hour for simple portraits to several weeks for complex wedding albums, depending on the photo type, complexity, and workflow. A general rule of thumb is that editing can take roughly four hours of work for every hour of shooting for events like weddings, accounting for culling, editing, and retouching.
Factors influencing editing time are the type of photography:
Product: 15-30 minutes per photo
Portrait: 30-60 minutes per photo
Wedding: 1-2 hours per photo, or even more, depending on the level of retouching
Editing complexity:
Simple edits like adjusting colors and exposure take much less time than complex retouching, like removing blemishes or distractions, which can take up to an hour or more per photo.
Workflow:
I use editing software to speed up the process

Other factors:
My workload, especially at certain times of the year, can also affect turnaround times.
General turnaround times by shoot type
Portraits: 5-7 days for proofs and 1-2 days for final high-res files after client selection.
Weddings: Proofs take 3-4 weeks to complete, and final albums take 4-6 weeks from approval, though I do try to offer sneak peeks sooner.
Small events: 5-7days for proofs and final high-res files.
It's important to note that these are just estimates, and delivery times can vary depending on my current workload and the client's specific needs.
